What is the CRM Dashboard?
The Dashboard is the home of the CRM — open it for a one-glance read of where your business stands. Stats up top, charts in the middle, and a sidebar with what's coming up next. Built for the morning coffee check-in.
Three things to look at every morning: the stats (did anything change overnight?), the upcoming tasks (what do I need to do today?), and the birthdays (any easy wins for relationship-building?).
Open the Dashboard
Sidebar → CRM → it's the default page.
Tick a task without leaving
Use the Upcoming Tasks widget on the right — checkbox marks done, counts update live.
Stats at a glance
The top row shows three blocks:
Contacts
Total, new in last 30 days, breakdown by stage and by source.
Deals
Total deals, total value, closed this month, earned commission.
Tasks
Total, pending, overdue, completed today, due today.
Numbers update as you work — close a deal and the closed this month count ticks up. Tick a task done and completed today increments while pending drops.
Charts
A line/area chart of contacts by month sits below the stats. Quick check on whether your lead-gen is up, flat, or trending down compared to recent months.
The contacts list to the right of the chart shows your most recent additions — useful for spotting fresh leads to follow up with.
Recent Activity
A timeline widget showing the last interactions across your CRM:
- New contacts created
- Emails sent / received
- Deals moved between stages
- Tasks completed
- Documents uploaded
Each item links straight to its source (contact, deal, task) so you can pivot from "what just happened" into the actual record.
Upcoming
The right sidebar groups everything coming up into three blocks:
Tasks
Your next pending tasks. Checkbox marks done — pending count drops, completed-today count rises, all without a reload.
Events
Next calendar events — showings, closings, meetings — with date and (if linked) the contact or deal they belong to.
Birthdays
Upcoming contact birthdays with avatar — easy excuse for a thoughtful message that costs nothing.
The birthday move is undervalued. A short, personal text on the day takes 30 seconds and beats a generic email blast every time. The Dashboard tells you who's up next.
Quick reference
- Open Dashboard — Sidebar → CRM (default page)
- Tick a task — Upcoming Tasks widget → checkbox
