Calendar
Visual month view of every event, task, and birthday tied to your CRM. Create events with location autocomplete, link them to contacts or deals, and color-code by type for quick scanning.
What is the Calendar?
The Calendar is a month-grid view of everything happening in your CRM — meetings, showings, closings, tasks with due dates, and contact birthdays. Each entry is color-coded and clickable.
One calendar, every CRM signal. Events you create here, plus tasks scheduled with a date, all show up on the same grid. Click any item to open its details on a popover.
Open Calendar
Sidebar → CRM → Calendar.
Create something
Click Create → pick Event or Task.
The Month view
A standard month grid. Top bar:
- Today — jump back to this month.
- ◀ ▶ — previous / next month.
- Month Year picker — click the title (e.g. "January 2026") to open a popover and jump to any month/year (range goes back to 2020 and forward indefinitely).
- Mouse wheel — scrolling on the grid also pages through months.
- All-day bar — at the top of the grid, all-day events sit here so they don't crowd time slots.
Each event/task on a day is a colored chip. Click any chip to open a popover with the full details.
Creating an event
Click "Create" → "Event"
The Create dropdown is in the top bar. Pick Event to open the event dialog.
Fill in the basics
- Title (required) — "Showing — 123 Oak St".
- Description (optional) — agenda, prep notes.
- Location — type to search (Google Places autocomplete). The address attaches to the event so you have driving directions in one click.
- Start / End Date.
- All Day toggle — if on, the event sits in the all-day bar.
- Start / End Time — for timed events.
- Color — pick from the color picker for visual grouping.
Link it (optional)
Attach the event to a contact or to a deal. Once linked, it surfaces on that contact/deal too — and you can jump to either from the popover.
Save
The event lands on the day you picked, color-coded.
Creating a task from the calendar
You can also create a task directly from the Calendar. Click Create → Task. The standard task dialog opens. Set a due date and the task appears on the grid alongside events.
This is the fastest way to schedule a follow-up call for "next Tuesday at 10am" without leaving the Calendar view.
Linking to contacts & deals
Every event has a context field that's either contact or deal, plus a contextRef pointing to the specific record. The benefit:
- From the contact sheet → see every event you've scheduled with this person.
- From the deal → see every showing, meeting, or closing-related milestone.
- From the calendar popover → click the contact/deal name to jump to their full profile.
Tie everything to a contact or deal when possible. It costs you a click during creation and saves you searching later — and it builds a real timeline of activity per relationship.
Event colors
Each event has a custom color (any hex). Use this to group by type at a glance:
- 🟢 Green — closings
- 🔵 Blue — buyer showings
- 🟣 Purple — listing appointments
- 🟠 Orange — open houses
- ⚪ Gray — internal / admin
That's just one convention — pick whatever scan-pattern works for you. The color shows on the chip in the grid and on the popover.
