Inbox

Centralized inbox for every email and website message from your contacts. Threaded conversations, read/unread, archive, attachments, open tracking, and AI-powered replies tuned for real estate agents.

What is the Inbox?

The Inbox is a unified view of every conversation you have with your contacts — emails you sent, replies they sent back, messages submitted through your website. Each conversation is grouped by contact and threaded.

One inbox, every channel that exists. Messages come in via email or via your website forms. Both threads land here, against the right contact.

Open the Inbox

Sidebar → CRMInbox.

Send a message

Click the + button → pick a contact → write → send.

The Inbox view

Two tabs at the top:

  • Active — your live conversations.
  • Archived — conversations you've put away (still searchable, just out of the main list).

A search bar at the top of the conversation list — "Search for conversations" — matches against contact name, subject, and message body.

Each row in the conversation list shows:

  • Contact avatar and name
  • Last message preview
  • Timestamp
  • An unread indicator if there are messages you haven't read

Click a row to open the thread on the right side.

Sending a message

1

Click the "+" button

2

Top-right of the Inbox. A new-message dialog opens.

3

Pick a recipient

4

Search for an existing contact. The contact's email auto-fills.

5

Write subject + body

6

Add a subject and the message. You can attach files (drag-drop or click the paperclip).

7

Send

8

The message goes out via your connected email channel. It appears in the contact's thread immediately, with status pending → delivered.

Reading & threading

Open any conversation to see the full thread on the right. The view shows:

  • All messages in order, newest at the bottom.
  • Sender info on each message (you vs the contact).
  • Inline attachments with preview.
  • A reply box at the bottom — type and send without leaving the page.
  • A "…" menu in the header to archive the conversation.

When you open a conversation it's automatically marked as read. You can manually toggle read/unread from the conversation menu if you want to come back to it later.

Email tracking

Every outgoing message has a status that tells you what happened to it:

Pending

Just sent. Waiting for the email server to deliver.

Delivered

Reached the recipient's inbox. Timestamp recorded.

Opened

The recipient opened it. Each message tracks open count and last opened so you can see who's reading multiple times.

Failed

Bounced or rejected. The reason is recorded so you can fix the address or try another channel.

Use opens, don't worship them. Multiple opens often mean the lead is forwarding the message to a partner / spouse — a strong buy signal. A zero-open after 48 hours is also a signal: try a different subject, or pick up the phone.

Attachments

Drag any file into the reply box (or click the paperclip) to attach it. Each attachment shows its filename, size, and a preview for images and PDFs. Recipients see the same file in their email.

AI-Powered Replies

Panda's Inbox includes an AI assistant tuned for real estate, powered by GPT-4o. When you open a conversation, the AI can suggest a reply based on:

  • The full conversation history with that contact
  • Their language (auto-detected)
  • Real estate context — properties they've viewed, market insights, warm tone
  • Any files mentioned in the thread

Use the suggestion as-is, edit it, or ignore it and write your own. The AI is a starting point, not a replacement for the relationship.

Privacy note: the AI sees only the conversation and contact context — never your other contacts' data.
